Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 large egg

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Olive oil for cooking

Burger buns

Lettuce and tomato for serving

Instructions

Prep the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped onion, egg, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined but don’t overwork the meat.

Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing while cooking.

Cook the Patties: Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, place the patties in the skillet or on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and they are golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers: Toast the burger buns lightly if desired. Place a patty on the bottom half of each bun, then garnish with lettuce and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve the burgers hot, with your favorite sides like sweet potato fries or a fresh salad.
