Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

8 oz egg noodles (or your favorite noodles)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch ginger, grated

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 cup bell peppers, julienned (red, yellow, or green)

1 cup carrots, julienned

4 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Add Aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger into the pan with the beef. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Create the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Pour this sauce over the beef mixture in the skillet.

Incorporate Vegetables: Add the bell peppers and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry everything together for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the vegetables to soften slightly.

Combine with Noodles: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together to ensure the noodles are well coated in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the skillet from heat. Stir in chopped green onions and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Serve immediately and enjoy your delightful Mongolian ground beef noodles!
