Mozzarella Pepperoni Croissant Rolls

Ingredients
  

1 package of crescent roll dough (8 oz)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup pepperoni slices

1/2 cup Italian seasoning (mixed herbs)

1 egg (for egg wash)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and olive oil. Stir until well combined.

      Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate the triangles.

        Place a generous spoonful of the cheese and pepperoni mixture at the wide end of each triangle.

          Carefully roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip, forming a crescent shape. Ensure the filling is secured inside.

            Whisk the egg in a small bowl. Lightly brush the tops of each rolled croissant with the egg wash for a golden finish.

              Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each for baking.
