8 ounces of bowtie pasta

2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

1/4 cup red onion, diced

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool. Set aside.
