Ingredients

1 lb salmon fillet, skinless and boneless

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 eggs, beaten

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons minced garlic

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, about 1 inch each.

Set Up Breading Station: In one bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In a second bowl, place the beaten eggs. In a third bowl, add the panko breadcrumbs.

Bread the Salmon: Dip each salmon cube first into the flour mixture, shaking off excess. Next, dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs. Make sure each piece is well-coated.

Cook the Salmon: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of oil. Once hot, carefully place the salmon bites in the skillet without overcrowding. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Glaze the Bites: Toss the crispy salmon bites in the honey garlic sauce until well coated.

Serve: Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
