Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

2 cups broccoli florets

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, add the penne pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 10-12 minutes. Add the broccoli florets in the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through.

Add Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.

Make the Creamy Sauce: Reduce the heat to low. Pour in heavy cream and add the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy. If desired, add red pepper flakes for a little kick. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Combine: Add the cooked penne and broccoli to the skillet, tossing everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce. Let cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat to heat through.

Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your creamy, delicious creation!
